Where We Work: PiLA 2024-2025 Partner Organizations

At Princeton in Latin America (PiLA), we are proud to work in partnership with a diverse range of organizations that are driving positive change across Latin America and the Caribbean. Our fellows are placed with leading NGOs, social enterprises, and development organizations that are committed to addressing some of the region’s most pressing challenges. From education and public health to environmental conservation and economic development, PiLA Fellows are making a tangible impact in communities throughout the region.

Where We Work

PiLA Fellows are currently serving in multiple countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. Our placements span a variety of sectors, each providing a unique opportunity for our fellows to contribute their skills, learn from local leaders, and immerse themselves in the culture and context of their host country. Here’s an overview of where we work:

  • Costa Rica: Our partners in Costa Rica focus on environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture.
  • Dominican Republic: Our partners in the Dominican Republic focus on education and community development, providing fellows with opportunities to engage in meaningful projects that support local communities.
  • Guatemala: Our partnerships in Guatemala focus on education and human rights.
  • Mexico: Our partner in Mexico focuses on economic development programs that empower local communities.

In addition to the partners listed above, for our 2025-2026 fellowship cycle, we will be adding new partners in Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras, and Panama.
